WOMAN CHARGED WITH THEFT
When Nellie Limpus, aged 4S, appeared before Mr. W. H.. Woodward, 5.M., : today on a charge of stealing £25, the property _of Eric <L Barber,. Sub-Inspector Ward applied for a remand until 14th October;- as," he said/ there were ten similar charges, involving £300 to • £400, ; still to be-preferred. He alleged that_ tho accused, who owned two . motoriorries, haid obtained fidelity bonds from ten-motor-drivers, to. whom she offered employment, and had converted the moir >•, to her own xise. • On the application of the accused's counsel, Mr1. J. Scott.-she was admitted to bail on a bond 0f.£50, with one surety of £50, or two of £25.
