A new chapter in the history of communication between Canada and Engr land was opened by the berthing at Victoria Docks of the steamer Farnworth, with 227,000 bushels of Manitoba wheat. The vessel is the pioneer of tho trade route from Churchill, the new Hudson's Bay port, bringing the prairie grain area 600 miles closer to London. • (
