LONDON, 3rd October. Bioting; again broke out in. Glasgow, crowds looting shops and smashing windows. , The police charged with batons, and; amid a shower of stones,, bottles, and-jam jars, 49 arrests were made. ■ Some prisoners were bo violent that it required five policemen to frog-marea them to the police station.
