Charged with being a disturber «f the peace) and inciting others to divers crimes and misdemeanours, Wai Hannington, organiser of the National Unemployed Workers' movement, appeared at Bow Street. The Magistrate ordered that he be bound over ,in two sureties «f £100 for good behaviour tor six months or a month's imprisonment. Hannirtgton elected to go to prison, saying that the movement was agitating the whole country against cuts ia the dole. , . ;
