OTTAWA, 3rd October. Following a five-hour session of Cabinet, Mr. K. B. Bennett, Prime Minister, announces that Canada will remain on the gold standard. Canada has not altered her position taken up when the announcement was made that England had departed from tlio gold standard. "Nor do wo contemplate so doing," says tbo' Premier.
