MIRAMAR'S BEGINNING
Members of the Mitamar Grounds Club, which came' into existence three" years ago for the purpoise of fostering social activi* ties among the members of the cpnrta controlled by.the provincial association, assembled at the club on Saturday for th« annual opening ceremony. Mr. C. G. Swinburne, chairman of the Management Committee of the Wellington Lawn Tennis Association, declared the season open, extending his best wishes to the club for the new tennis year. Three hard court* were used by the fairly large attendance, and a Yankee tournament was run, th« winners being S. Brace and D. Phillips.
