(Eeceived 3rd October, 2.30 p.m.) MELBOttBNE, This Day. Flemington training gallops this morning took place on the tan. Gold Jar did a mile in imin 47$ sec. Royal Baib galloped a quarter mile m 27scc.
Te Huon did six furlongs in Imin
18sec. La Joconde strode out one- and a half miles, the last three furlongs taking 40sec. Ooonaitha did the best quarter-mile gallop, taking 24scc« Ocean Bound and Paton -did -a milo in lmin 48sec. Golden Airow, with H.'Keed. up, dia seven furlongs m lmin 34sec. Uriah Hcep gallopod seven furiongs in lmin 35sec. Aga Khan did five furlongs in^lmln 7sec. ' i At Ganlfield, on the sand, King Mart did half a milo in 53sec. Old Ming galloped two, furlongs in 26seo. Vigne, with A. Heed up.did six furlongs on tho tan at half pace. Ho looks well. - , i Hyde Park galloped a quarter-mno in 27sec. ' ', » Induna, liddcn by P. Dempsey, did seven furlongs in evens. Chatham arrived.from Sydney, and ran a mile on the outside in evens. Skirmish did a mile in*lmin 49sec and Parkwood in lmin 57sec.
