(Received 3rd October, 1.10 p.m.) SYDNEY, This Day. Meteoiological forecasts ' are for showers and thunder* with cold,,squally winds, for to-day's opening of ' the A.J.C. Meeting. Heavy showers fell during tha night, but tho sky is now cleai. The track is not likely to be greatly affected.
