M"Neil, S.M., in the Magistrate's Court to-day to three charges of theft involving a camera and bU cycle accessories of a total value of £5 135..- ~' .' ','' ;i v ' ■'.'.■.■ Sub-Inspector Ward said that the thefts of the bicycle parts had taken place on separate days in July from a bicycle parked outside, a picture theatre. The camera had been; taken from a car parked in the street, and after keeping it for a few days, the accused had given it to a woman friend as a birthday present, saying that he had bought it second-harid. The woman had later pawned the camera.
