The denial that New Zealand is open, ing trade relations with .Russia refer* to a statement recently circulated in * section of the provincial Press ihat the Soviet had agreed not to send to New Zealand goods competing with thosa made in the Dominion, if the Dominion: agreed to purchase Russian petrol and oil. '
