WELLINGTON CITY OBSERVATORY.

Owing to. the very, bad weather prevailing last Saturday night, the. Observatory was not opened to the public. When the Observatory is opened this Saturday, however; good views should be obtained of the star clusters and finer details of the Milky Way owing- to the moon rising late and thus not causing too much brightness. The Observatory is situated in the Botanical Gardens, and is easily accessible' by means of" the Kelburn cable car. A small charge is made for admission. ~,,.:..
