The Special Parliamentary Economic Committee heard evidence this morning from Mr. James Roberts, secretary of the Alliance of Labour, who was accompanied by a number,of trades union officials.'

This afternoon Mr." W. Goodfellow, the prominent dairyman, will be heard, and to-morrow will be devoted to further evidence from Departmental heads.
