CASH BAG STOLEN

THEFT FROM BUS

A. cash bag containing about &i was stolen from one of the Eailway Department's buses parked near the Telephone Exchange in Featherston street on Friday night. The robbery was committed when the driver left the vehicle for a moment to see the time. A man was seen to enter the unattended_,bns, snatch the cash bag from its fastenings, and make off towards the wharf. He then turned into the railway yards, where he disappeared in the darkness.
