JOHN THOMSON DIES FROM KICK

Regarded as one of the best goalkeepers Scotland has produced, the Celtic international, John Thomson, died from a fractured skull as the result of a violent kick when attempting to save a goal. Other football casualties included two broken leys, a nose,, and an arm.
