KARORI WIN AGAIN. Karori appeared, to have little difficulty in defeating Wesley by 5 goals to one. At the outset Wesley made a good showing, and actually scored, but were oil-side. Karori soon took the aggressive, and Roberts, who was playing an attractive game on the right wing, scored. Karori 1, Wesley 0. I'or a while Wesley held their opponents, although the inside men were oil' their game, and missed several good opportunities. Ovjer-eagerncsa also spoilt some of the Karori attacks, and half-time was taken without further score. The second spell was mainly iv Karon's favour. King put the Blacks further ahead soon af.ter the resumption, but Philpotta gave the ' Wesley supporters 'a' gleam of hope by scoring after good supporting play. Karori 2, Wesley 1. In the ensuing play King twice broke away and netted when the Wesley goalkeeper came out to meet him, and towards the end of the game Robb scored with ease. Hume, Wesley's right full-back,' played a great defensive game in both spells. Mr. H. Smith was the referee.
