WINTER SPORTS
The following allocation of city playing areas for winter sports was agreed to l>y the Citjr Council last evening:—.
The use of the Basin 'Reserve is to be offered to the Football Association:' for Saturday afternoon'play from 2nd May to 29th August, on the. usual conditions, subject to a cash payment of £150 being made by.the association, -the. council to collect 15 per cent, of. the ground takings and 50 per.cent, of the stand: takings.
