j The nice for the Lambcrg Cup, a general handicap for contreboarders, was sailed by the Evans Bay Yacht and Jlotorlioat Club yesterday morning, al'tci" being postponed from 21st February. The Betty, which was placed 2min behind scratch, fouled the Kio 11. when both bouts were in leading positions, uud retired. Thereafter tlie Kio was never seriously troubled, and was first home, although the Nancy followed her closely. First place on the adjustment of tho times went to the Spray, with the Nancy second, and the Bonzo third. The start was delayed for about ten minutes to enable the Royal Port Nicholson Club's boats to arrive, but they put in an appearance too late to take part. The race for the Boys' Cup, postponed from the previous week-end, was sailed in the afternoon, and resulted in a win for tho Lauchlan's Jewel. The Southern Maid was second and the Nancy third. The points do not count for the championship.
