KENNEL CLUB
ANNUAL MEETING
The disqualification .it shows of dogs coming from kennels where there was infectious disease was unanimously decided upon by the Wellington Kennel Club at its forty-third annual meeting on Saturday evening. It was resolved that when the veterinarian rejected a dog suffering from distemper or any other infectious disease: all other dogs from the same kennel should be rejected also. A hearty vote of thanks was accorded the retiring presideut (Mr. James Mason) for the able way in which he had filled the position. There was a good deal of discussion as to the advisability of holding the show in winter months. It was recommended to the incoming committee' that the show should be held either in May or September.
