Lady Norah Jollicoo. who lias been visiting in Hawkeg Bay and Auckland, arrived this morning .to stay with Mr. and Mrs. Vivian Eiddiford at "Woburn," Lower Hutt. Mr. and Mrs. Pat Ward, who recently arrived in "Wellington from England, aro the guests of Mr. and Mrs. Bernard Wood, Heretaunga. Miss Margot Bussell, Hawkcs Bay, who has been spending a few days at Heretaunga, left yesterday for Masterton, where she will be the guest of Mrs. Guy Williams, Te Parae. Lady Butherford, Cambridge, England, who has been visiting her mother, Mrs. Newton, Christehurch, left on Saturday by the Ruahine on her return journey to England. Mr. and Mrs, Herbert Gardiner, Sum - ncr, Christehurch, arrived in Wellington yesterday morning fov a visit to the North Isiand. Miss Penelope Blundell, Wellington, is the guest of Mr. aud Mrs. Dudley Newbigin, Hastings. Miss Marjorie Vailc, Auckland, is the guest of Mrs. Guy Williams, Te Parac, Masterton. Mrs. Edward Biddiford, England, has taken Mrs. Lan Johnston's house at Lower Hutt. Mrs. Johnston and Miss Annette. Johnston will spend the winter in town. Miss Turville Petre, England, who has been visiting relatives in the South Island, is now the guest of Mrs. Geoffrey Goodwin, Lower Hutt. Miss Hinge, Oriental Bay, is visiting Chateau Tongariro. Mr. and Mrs. H. B. Gordon, Lower Hutt, returned home to-day after a tour of the North Island. Lady Baden-Powell, who will arrive in Christehurch to-morrow from Wellington, will be the guest of mombers of the Canterbury Women's Club for morning tea on Saturday, 7th March. Mrs. Porter, Wellington, is visiting Pahiatua, Masterton, and various towns of the Wairarapa district. Mrs. F. Pinder, Wellington, is visiting Christehurch. ' Dr and Mrs. W. Young and Miss Catherine Young-, The Terrace, who are motoring in.the North, are expected home next Friday.
