'PERIOD OF UNOCCUPANCY

The insurance companies, who arc members of the Council of tho Fire Underwriters' Association of New Zealand, announce that, without prejudice to fire insurance policies, the period of unoccupancy of thirty days has been extended to sixty days from 3rd February. This announcement does not waive the earthquake clause or the conditions attaching thereto. It is understood that the State Fire Department is doing the same.
