The total of these funda i is about £2000. j DUNEDI3NT, 27th February. . \ I The total of the three principal tc--1 lief funds in Dunodin is £18,217 10s , sd, made up as follows: —Mayor's fund, 1 £6122 7s 9d; "Daily Times," £10,----■Ol2 7s lid; "Evening Star," £1482 14s 9d. These totals exclude funds trom'country and suburban districls. Mr. Albert L. ReekiU, who visited New Zealand a few years ago, has cabled the local director of Reckitts (Oversea) Ltd., instructing him to pay £250 to the Earthquake Fund on behalf, of BeckittV Blue Company. He also directed him to give £220 from the Sir .James Reckitt Charity Trust, and'had pleasure in giving £30 personally. Instructions had also come by Ic.-iblo from Colman's Mustard and Starch Company for a donation of ! £250. Altogether the 'sum of, £770 [ was to be given through tho local office of the Colman and Heckitt companies. Already the New Zealand staff of tho above companies had contributed one day's pay. \
