Careful investigation proved that it was hardly the case, but where .tho. internal examiners had been outside the School of Architecture, they had not kept closely within the matter represented by tho text-books r.ecO,niijioncled in the bibliography. Students "were not doing as well as they should in mathematical subjects. It was also apparent that hitherto the time allotted for tho structural mechanics examination had been inadequate to permit of a sufficient number of questions being properly answored.
