INTEREST ON LOANS
REDUCTION IN VICTORIA
(Received 11th February, 9 a.m.) MELBOURNE, This Day. The Commissioners of the Government Savings Bank of Victoria have decided to reduce the rate of interest on advances made to farmers and others to 6 per cent. This applies to loans aggregating some £13,000,000 already,granted, the interest on which was originally 7 to 7% per cent.
