Sir Harold -Beauchamp, as chairmanat the annual meeting of the Wellington Gas Company, to-day said: — \: "May Tbe permitted to express your and the." board's great sympathy withthose who have suffered. by the unparalleled disaster that has befallen the residents "of "Ha.wkes Bay, particularly, those in Napier and Hastings.
