RESIDENTS' PETITION
Some time ago Mr. E. M'Keen, M.P. for ■Wellington South, presented a petition to the Postmaster-General (the Hon. J. B. Donald) from tho people of Mansfield street, Newtown, asking for an earlier delivery of mail in tlio street. Mr. M'Keen has now received a reply from Mr. Donald, who states that:a proposal to reorganise the postmen's walks in Wellington is oinder consideration, and that if it is possible to givo some relief to the Mansfield street residents he will comnraieate •with.
