' In a defended case, heard by Mr. T. B. M'Neil, S.M., at Lower Hutt on Wednesday, judgment was given for £8 in favour of E. Ireson, in a claim for £8:15s against J. A. Dawsbn. Judgment for : plaintiff by default was given in the case, Wetland Timber Co.:V. S. ( J. Franks, £5 6s lOd.
