LAUNCH WASHED ASHORE
' It was reported to the Marine Department on Monday that a launch was sheltering off Motunau Island, just south of the Huronui River, and word -was subsequently received that it was washed ashore ion Monday night. The launch, which • comeg from Lyttelton, is called the Ynot, 'and its owner, Mr. Peter Patterson, who ,wm apparently the only person on board, is safe. No other particulars are available.
