: Britlsli Official Wireless. RUGBY, 3rd February. A by-election will take place almost immediately in the Fareham division of Hampshire owing to the resignation of tho Conservative member, Sir John Davidson. Sir Thomas Inskip, Attorney-General in the late Government, will be the Conservative candidate, and states that he is anxious to return to the House of Commons in time to take part in the debates on the Trades Disputes Bill. In a three-cornered contest at the General Election, Sir John Davidson had a majority o£ 11,000.
