(By Telegraph.—l ipss Association.) ■ . PALMEESTON N., This Day. An inquest was held to-day regarding the deaths of Florence Dommett, school teacher, aged 23, and Vernon Charles Ferguson, a .pupil, aged 9, who were drowned in the river near the Komako School while bathing yesterday. Evidence was given that the teacher was instructing the pupils in. swimming. When, she took Ferguson into deep water she appeared to faint, both being in difficulties. The bodies were recovered^ but resuscitativo methods failed. The Coroner found that the deaths were due to accidental drowning. He commented that whore parties of children went bathing tfiere should be more than one adult present in case of accident.
