TALLOW.

(Received 11th December, 0.40 a.m.) LONDON, 10th December. Tallow sales: 684 casks were offered and J25 were sold. Prices are unchanged.

The Bank of New Zealand Produce Department has received the following advice from its London office, under date 30th December:—"Tallow: There is a faildemand. Current quotations: Good mutton, 28s 6d per cwt, beef 27s to 27s 6d, mixed 275; gut, 22s to 2.55." Messrs. Dalgety and Co. report, London, 10th December:—"London Tallow Sales: 684 casks tallow offered, 225 casks sold; prices unchanged. We quote: Fine mutton, 31s; good mixed, 275; inferior, 24s 6d. No further sales will be held this year."
