WARMER AGAIN
WEATHER STILL FAIR
The distribution of pressure remains much the same as it has been for the last week. An anti-cyclone coVers the Tasman Sea and a depression is located to tho cast of the Chatham Islands. The latter, however, is at last showing signs of moving away. Moderate to fresh southerly winds prevailed yesterday, but d,uring tne night they decreased, and to-day there is a tendency to northerlies in many places. Temperatures as a consequence have risen again. Yesterday's weather was fair for the most part, although a few scattered showers fell in the Auckland and AVestland districts. Auckland had a dull morning yesterday, but the weather cleared and was flue in the afternoon and evening. In Wellington the weather was fair but dull, the wind being a cool southerly. Christehureh also had a dull day. Aftei a temporary clearance in the early evening, the sky clouded over again. A liglit southerly prevailed in Dunedin and the weather was fine and sunny. Light to moderate and variable winds are forecasted to tend to northerlies. later and to freshen somewhat. The weather for the most part should remain fair, but there is likely to be an increase in cloud and haze. Scattered showers) mainly in western districts, are not improbable. Temperatures will be milder.
