At Trentham': on/Saturday the Karori Club fired the first half of their service shooting, consisting of musketry. Although there was only a poor attendance the shooting was of a high standard and consistent, only six men failing to reach the qualifying 85. The series was divided into five sections: —A, five rounds, application, 200 yds, possible 20; B, 5 rds., grouping 100 yds, possible 25; C, 10 rds., rapid 200 yds, time limit of 60sec, possible 40; D, 5 rds., snap, 200 yds, disc: exposed for 4see per round, possible 15; apd E, 5 rds., application, 300 yds, possible! 20. Next Saturday the club will complete the service shooting and thereby decide the result of the Willoughby Cup. It has been decided that the 500 yds and 600 yds championship shoot, which was missed on 25th October owing to inclement weather will be shot on the 28th February, 1931, and the 300 yds and 600 yds championship shoot, which was missed on 22nd November, will be decided on the 10th January, 1931.
