The fact that although many people were -willing to report instances of dangerous driving, they almost invariably refused to give evidence, and thus made the task of tho police very difficult, was commented on by Mr. R. W. Tate, S.M., as president of the Taranaki branch of .thu Federated Justices of the Peace Association recently, says an. oxchange. Anybody had the right to report such a matter to the police, and would be doing a public service to see it through.
