There was a large attendance of buyers sit the auction sale conducted by Messrs. IT. Ernest Lnighton, Ltd., property auctioneers, at their property auction room, 1-1, Brandon street, Wednesday, 3rd December, at 2.30 p.m. Five high-class suburban properties wore submitted, and bidding on all properties was spirited. In no case did the property quite reach the reserve price, which in every enso had been fixed very low. The properties are- in the hands of the auctioneers for private sale, and ready sales are expected.
