There was an excellent selection of greasy merinos suit- ' able for all sections, and a large offering of scoureds, but a moderate supply_ _of crossbreds. Good general competition was a feature of the sales, and prices ■were maintained. New Zealand greasy merino "Connemara" sold lid to lOd; crossbred, "JLR," 7d to 6J^d. Messrs. Dalgety and Company, Limited, report:—At our sale in London yesterday ■we sold 90 per cent. Sales continue active, with brisk competition, but market irregular.
