HERTZOG'S VIEW OF HIS • MISSION
(Received 2nd December, 11 a.m.) CAPE TOWN, Ist December. The Prime Minister, General Hertzo£, was given a municipal welcome. He said that he had every right to asserti that his mission to the Imperial Conference had borne fruit. He would have i liked to have got more facilities for disposing of South Africa's products in Britain. "Knowing the policy of the British Government, our expectations have been met, but not our hopes," he said. He anticipated further progress at the Ottawa Conference.
