WORSER BAY SWIMMING CLUB
The season lias been a busy and successful one, club members taking part in all branches of the sport with gratifying results, states the annual report -of the Worser Baj; Amateur.Swimming and Lifesaving Club. The club finished the season with a substantial credit balance, and the membership stands at 130. Good fields contested the club races, both senior and junior, throughout the season/ but not one ladies' race was swum as there were no starters. The club was well represented at all the inter-club carnivals, and in nearly all the competitions held under the auspices of the Royal Life-saving Society and some excellent performances were registered, among them the winning _of the, Junior Cup in the first year of competition. Life-saving classes were held, and 13 awards were made by the R.L.S.S. Instruction was again given to boys from Scots College, and 50 awards were made, an increase of 26 over last season. The report concludes with the hope that members will actively co-operate' with the incoming committee to make the season ahead even more successful."
