It is officially announced that tho names chosen for the Duke and Duchoss of York's daughter are Margaret Eose. The Princess will be christened in the private chapel in Buckingham Palace in October.
Margaret is an old- Scottish Eoyal name, and is a pleasant reminder that the little Princess is a daughter of Scotland. It has also been a family name of tho Strathmores for five centuries. One of the Duchess of York's own names is a variant—Marguerite, while Eose is tho uamo of the Duchess of York's beautiful sister, Lady Eose LevensonGower, who was one of the first' visitors to see the baby. It is expected that the Prince of "Wales will be one of the godfathers.
