Mr. W. A. Baker urged that a reduction should bo mado in the fees paia hy the clubs to the association. The , Irtl.ince-sheet showed, that no less an -si mount than £700 had been collected ■from the clubs in Wellington last year. Mr. W. J. R. Christophersen said that in tho first place tho association had to meet a fixed rental of £200 for the use of the Basin Reserve. Towards the end of last season ho had hoped to be able to recommend a re-bate,-but, later, after reviewing the whole position, he did not think circumstances justified that step.
