CULB FEES.
Mr. W. A. Baker urged that a reduction should bo mado in the fees paia hy the clubs to the association. The , Irtl.ince-sheet showed, that no less an -si mount than £700 had been collected ■from the clubs in Wellington last year. Clubs,, he said, were left with very Ji (-tie money to purchase material, etc. JUS, 0. H. Arndt supported Mr. Baker, s*<l said, he hopnd the flsso«ia tion would
be able to make some reduction this year. Replying, llr. Luckie said that until the council reduced the charges to the association it might bo a matter of some difficulty in acceding to the 'suggestions. Mr. Baker, said that wh'mi lie made his suggestion he thought perhaps, the association would be able to make some rebate to the olubs in view of thn successful season.
Mr. W. J. R. Christophersen said that in tho first place tho association had to meet a fixed rental of £200 for the use of the Basin Reserve. Towards the end of last season ho had hoped to be able to recommend a re-bate,-but, later, after reviewing the whole position, he did not think circumstances justified that step.
Applications for membership from two new clubs, Brooklyn and Rongotai Old Boys, were referred to the,incoming committee. It was stated that each club proposed entering two junior teams. : :..
