The United States Secretary for Agriculture, Mr. Hyde, said on Monday that the Government's investigation ,into affair* of three Chicago grain houses showed- that sales of double the amount at first' admitted ..had been made by the Russians'. It.was also.indicated that manipulations.of the, market had been under way for.months instead offor a few days, as-at first* thought., .
