(ReceiveS 22nd September, 11.30 a.m,)]
PARIS, 21st September.
The "Intransigcant" is publishing extracts from a Soviet official book dealing with the Royal Family of Rust sia, in which it is argued that ths; Provisional Government ordered their, arrest only in order to save the Tsar ; and. his family from the wrath of extremists.
The British Government agreed t» give the. family asylum and to send: a cruiser to carry them to England. Kerensky gave instructions for the family to be conveyed to the frontier and provided with a pass to Murmansk, but the Petrograd Soviet learned of; the plan and telegraphed in every diree« tion that Nicholas should be held in) custody. Whether the British cruise^ reached Murmansk is not stated.
