SHANDON LADIES' CLUB

A keen contest was decided on the Shandon links on Saturday, when Mrs. Walker (mid-week club) defeated Mrs. Fuller, 4 and 3, for the Sunflower Cup. The cup will now be held by the Mid-week Club for the year.. In the second round of the junior championship, Mrs. Low won by default; Miss Hodgins beat Miss Hay-Mackenzie, 6 and 5; Miss Levy beat Miss Read, 9 and 8; Miss Thompson beat Miss D. Press, 3 up. The one-club competition arranged by the ■ Shandon Ladies' Mid-week Club for last Thursday, and postponed on account of rain, will be played nest Thursday, players choosing their own partners.
