Mr and Mrs. George Pcareo, Lower Hutt, returned lioiuc to-day after spending a few days at Mangaweka. Mr and Mrs. A. do Bathe Brandon, Hobson street, will be the guests of | Mrs. R. I-I. Rhodes, Tivnaru, tins week for the wedding of their son. .Dr a nd Mrs. Preudergast Knight and Miss Jocolyu Knight, Bolton street, will be visitors to Tirnaru this week. Airs H. B. Free, Palmerston North, who has been visiting Wellington, returned home to-day. Mrs. S. J. Gill has returned to Mastevton after a visit to Wellington, 1 Miss Jocelyn Biddiford, "Wobuni," ! Lower Hutt, returned home to-day after spending the wreck-end with Mrs. Herrick, Hawkes Bay. Mrs. Athol Pearce has returned to Mangaweka after a holiday spent at Lower Hutt. Mrs. C. E. Carleton, Ckristehureh, is a visitor to Wellington. Mrs. ~). Jones, Lower Hutt, is at present visiting Dannevirke. Miss Lettice Loughnim, who has been visiting Hawkes Bay, has now returned to Christehurch. Miss Margaret M'Tigue, Christohurch, is the guest of Miss Mary M'Evedy, Wellington. Mr. and Mrs. G. J. Pearce were among the passengers who arrived by the Euahine from England on Saturday. Mrs. W. H. Price and Miss Kathleen Price, who have returned from a visit! to Sydney, will leave for Christclrareh! to-night. Miss B. Brown, Wellington, is staying at Grosvenor Hotel, Timaru. Mrs.-E. Kelly, Wellington, is a visitor to Auckland. Mr. and Mrs. Hurst Seagor leave this week by the. Maunganni for Sydney en route to England. Mrs. C. R. Craythorne, Sumner, who has been visiting Wellington,' has returned home.
