She proceeds later to the southern ports to complete the discharge of her Australian cargo. KAPITi'S NEW DIESEL ENGINE. The small coastal vessel Kapiti, which has been laid up at Wellington for the past few weeks, had her new Diesel engines installed this morning. The Kapltl was berthed at the Railway Wharf and the new eugine, weighing about 10 tons, was lifted on board by a crane. The engine was brought out from Great Britain. The Kapunl was recently converted to a motorship at Auckland, and the Hawera is at present undergoing conversion at the same port.
