SHOP-SHY ARCHBISHOP
The Archbishop of Canterbury, speaking at a luncheon in connection with the Early Closing Association, said he had not been in a shop morb than two or three times in 22 years. He added, according to an account in the "Daily Chronicle": 'When I do enter a shop, on those rare occasions, I must confess I feel very shy and very uncomfortable. lam embarrassed by the difference between the complete know-, lodge of the shop assistants and my almost, complete ignorance about the commodities in. search of which I have ventured through the door."
