Mr. and Mrs. Bernard Wood, Aurora terrace, left to-day for a holiday visit to Chateau Tongariro and B.otorua, Miss Marie Steed, who has been the guest of Lady Roberts at Lower Hutt, returned to Hawkes Bay to-day. j Miss M. Skerrett, Wellington, who has been in England for some time, is arriving in New Zealand by the Eangitata, which is due in Wellington on Wednesday week. Mrs. A. E. Harding, Bargaville, who has been the guest of Mrs. J. G. Coates, Wellington, returned home to-day. Miss Jill Jervis, Lower Hutt, will leave to-iugbt for a visit to Cliristehurch. Mr. and Mrs. P. Verschaffelt, Aurora terrace, left to-day for a visit to Chateau Tvngariro. • Miss Mary Menzies, who has boon spending a 'short holiday in Wellington, will return to Christehurch tonight. Mr. and Mrs. Percy Nathan, Masterton, are visiting Wellington. ! Mr. and Mrs. A. 11.I1. White and Miss I C. White, Wellington, are staying at Warner's Hotel, Ohristchurch. Mrs. Arthur Harper, Wellington, is n visitor to Christehurch. Miss Betty Sproule, Napier, who has been visiting Cliristchurch, arrived in Wellington this morning on her way north. Mr. and. Mrs. Paish, Wellington, are | staying at the Grosvenor Hotel, Timaru. Miss Margaret Miles, Wellington, is the guest of Mrs. 0. E. Kiver, Christcburcb. Miss IL Gillies, who has been spend-1 ing her holidays with her mother, Mrs. Gillies, in Timaru, has returned to Wellington. . ! Mr. and Mrs. Walter Massey, Mr. and Mrs. Massey, and Mr. and Mrs. Laurence Taylor, all of Auckland, arrived in Wellington to-day for the unveiling of the monument in memory' of the Eight Hon. Mr. Massey, whicli took place this afternoon. j
