The conference o£ delegates from branches of the Bcform ..Party ,in all parts of the Dominion concluded, its deliberations .yesterday, after., an interesting address on '.'Bulk Purchase" had been delivered by Mr.- D. Jones, M.P. Addresses were also delivered during the, conference by Mr. Downie Stewart, M.P., on "The Country's Finances," Mr. A. Hamilton, M.P., on "The Position of the Farmer," and Mr. E. F. Hemingway on "Organisation." The proceedings were marked by the utmost cordiality., , , ~ The chairman, Mr.' Gilkison : (Invercargill) moved a resolution of appreciation of the scTviees renderca; by the leader of the party, the.Bight Hon. J. G. Goates. Mr. Gilkison said the party were fortunate in having a man of such high character as their leader, who was a'man in a million, and one of whom they could justly be proud. They should assure him of their determination to do their utmost to return him to power at the next election.

The resolution was seconded by Miss B. Sanders, of Christchurch. Mrs. Harding (Kaipara) said she hoped that when tho next General Election came round the people would see fit to return Mr. Coates to power. The resolution .was carried'with ae-. clamation, those present rising and singing "For He's a Jolly Good Fellow," followed by cheers for Mr. and Mrs. Coates.
