SHEEP WORRYING
A VERY BAD CASE
(By Telegraph.) ! (Special to "The Evening Post.") j I MASTERTON, This Day. A very bad case of sheep worrying occurred at some time on "Wednesday night in a paddock on the outskirts of the town. An attack was made by a dog, or dogs, on a mixed flock of 48 hoggets, dry ana lambing ewes belonging to Mr. J. A. Betts. Five sheep were killed and ten others were so badly injured that they had to be destroyed. A number of the sheep were in a pitiable plight, some being terribly mutilated. Mr. Betts stated that it was the worst case of sheep worrying he had ever come across. questions, Mr. N. A. Ingram moved a resolution for the meeting heartily congratulating the Parliamentary Committco on its comprehensive report, and expressing the belief that if its findings wero put into effect the education system of the Dominion would be placed in a most satisfactory position.
