Mrs. Prank Hay, Wellington, loft last night for a visit to Gkristchureh and Dunedin. While in Christchurch she will bo the guest of Mrs. Bean, Biocarton.

Mrs. Raymond Tehnant, Duncclin, is the guest of Mrs. C. Young, Salamanca road. .

Miss A. Nathan was a passenger by the Mataroa from England yesterday.

Mr. and Mrs. Michael Stiver, Wellington, have been visiting Chateau Tongariro.

Miss Nancy Coolc,' who has been the guest of Mrs. Wileox, Auckland, during the vacation, has returned to Wellington.

Mr. and Mrs. S. J. Castle, Wellington, returned yesterday after a week's holiday, at Chateau Tongariro.

Miss Joy Sloman, Tinakori road, has returned from a visit to Auckland.

Mr. and Mrs. Erie Biddiford, Ororon' rongo, are in town for a few clays.

Mrs. Richard S. Gilkisou, Karori, has left for Sydney, where she intends to stay for some time.
