'"It is undoubtedly a fact that, -with the great assistance we have'received from our president, Mr. Simm, and oar vicepresidents, together with the greater slub j spirit shown by our members generally, I we have during the season under review made a big improvement in the club's standing," says the annual report of the Karori Cricket Club, presented at the annual meeting on Monday. "Our financial position is now good, and we succeeded in annexing two of the most important championships in Wellington—the Junior A Grade and the Senior Boys' League. "Your executive feels very gratified with the progress made, especially when our position at the end of last season is considered. It is felt that the corner is now definitely turned, and that we are on a good footing in every way.
